It is quite fact that blue area in Islamabad is the junction of skyscrapers. most of the tallest buildings in the city are built there. telecom tower, in particular, is going to be another addition in the list. this 113 meter tall building is under construction these days & its completion is expected at the end of 2010. this building is scheduled for more then 24 floors with good parking facility at the basement. telecom tower is planned to be used for the offices of telecom companies.

The late night cheap calls offers from telecom operators was creating behavioral problems among the youth in pakistan, so to cope with this, a day before Punjab government passed a resolution to ban all the late night call packages of ufone, mobilink, telenor, zong & warid. The initiative to ban late night cheap call packages from all cellular companies in Pakistan is taken by PML-N Punjab to save the youth from wasting their time in immoral activities. The mobile phone penetration among the teens & the cheap late night calls services by the cellular operators allows the students of schools, colleges & universities to talk over night with their friends & so called loved ones with no reason other then to satisfy their addiction,  this resulted in losing their interest from educational & academics activities, this seems  alarming  & can destroys the future of the nation in long run. Now lets see how strictly this resolution is  implemented as it will be a big loss for cellular operators. Note that a couple of months ago there was rumor about 1 rupee/SMS from PTA as well. Indeed this is a good news for parents, while on the other hand a  relatively bad news for teens in Pakistan.

Telecom companies continue to give each other a hard time by introducing attractive calls packages. Mobilink Jazz recently come up with their new 24 ghata package, Although mobilink free calls are not possible at yet but this is cheap as the quality of mobilink service is good as compare to zong. this new package of mobilink allow subscriber to talk 100 minutes in 24 hours at the price of RS 29+tax, to get this package write *101*1*05# on mobile screen and press send. you can get the tariff plan information by sending SMS to 676. As most of the people knows that in 2006 about 26% of the PTCL shares have been sold to Etisalat, a UAE-based telecommunications services provider & the 13th largest mobile network operator in the world. Government of Pakistan holds 62% of the shares while the remaining 12% are held by the general public. note that Ufone the second largest cellular provider is wholly owned by Etisalat.

Etisalat payment dispute with ptcl & the government of Pakistan came into the scenario on 29th December when etisalat refused to pay the four installments to the government of Pakistan over its 26% shares. more news about this has yet to come. note that PTCL’s privatization was done by Musharraf government to promote telecom industry in Pakistan & the privitization deal will be effected for seven years. PTCL performance is surely mobilized & the quality of their services is improved after the privatization. but one the other hand it is the failure of government for not taking solid steps to safeguard themselves in the issue of payments.

Despite the fact that PTCL customer services is improved. semms like they also upgraded their training & development department very progressively but they have yet to improve it inorder to get the maximum satisfied customer. After the successful launch of their differenrt innovative products like, PTCL wireless, Broadband pakistan, the Smart TV services is a like revolution for entertainment freaks. Here i want to mention that their DSL services is quite satisfactory by most of the users & they offer the best DSL line services in a reasonable cost. but yet the smart TV has been launched in few major cities of Pakistan. don’t know much about its quality & standards because i dint use it. so feel free to share your experience here about PTCL smart TV.

Saiful malook lake is one of the famous lake in the world, many poets and writers has written poems in praise of this wonderful place .Mian Muhammad Bakhsh & many others including Ahmad Hussain Mujahid, a poet and writer from Pakistan has written a story after falling in love with this beautiful lake. after traveling across abbotabad, mansehra & balakot you will reach kaghan, however kaghan is easily accessible by roads but you have to travel few kilometers on foot or horses to reached this lake. During winter the lake & the surrounding mountains is covered with heavy snow. the best time to visit this lake is July & August when the lake is filled with crystal clear water & the roads are open.

Annie the famous pop star & model is the brand ambassador of telenor as well, he appears in many billboards, newspapers and other print & electronic media outlets to promote telenor prepaid SIMs called “talkshawk”. in the above off the camera picture she is getting ready in the studio for the shoot of telenor print add compaign. Today we have a great eve at UpTown LA located in Lahore Defense , it was really wonderful playing games with our rivals lol , not exactly rivals but for the time being they were considered to be as rival because no game become interesting without good offense lol .
